The Naturas began with a simple idea: Cyberpunk City needed more than concrete, glass, and neon. Small groups started reclaiming neglected gardens, abandoned spaces, and forgotten corners of the city, planting trees and growing food wherever they could. Over time, these efforts grew into a larger movement dedicated to bringing nature back into everyday life.

As the movement grew, the Naturas saw an opportunity to put their ideals into practice. After purchasing and tearing down several aging buildings from the old Neon Spire, they began building a new district from the ground up. Their goal was to make nature a central part of everyday life, with green spaces, gardens, trees, and living architecture woven throughout the district. At the same time, they wanted to prove that a greener city did not mean giving up modern convenience. Verdant Verge was therefore designed to offer the technology, transportation, services, and comforts people expected from Cyberpunk City while placing nature at its heart.

However, creating Verdant Verge quickly brought the Naturas into conflict with powerful corporations seeking to influence its development. Disputes over construction, resources, environmental policies, and corporate control became increasingly common, with some conflicts eventually spilling into the streets. As tensions grew, resistance groups began forming to push back against corporate influence, giving the Naturas and their supporters a growing movement willing to fight for the future they believed Cyberpunk City deserved.

With corporate pressure mounting, the Naturas began taking a more proactive approach. Small teams of agents were sent into the towering corporations of Neon Spire to gather information and uncover what was happening behind closed doors. Moving carefully through corporate offices, research facilities, and secured buildings, these agents collected intelligence on development plans, environmental damage, and corporate activities that could threaten Verdant Verge and the wider Naturas movement.

Today, the Naturas have become one of the strongest voices challenging the corporate influence that shapes everyday life in Cyberpunk City. They are not simply fighting to protect nature, but to create a different way of living, one built around community, independence, and a closer connection to the world around them.
