Kael grew up in the country, far from the towering skyline and constant noise of Cyberpunk City. Looking for more opportunity and a chance to build a life on his own terms, he eventually moved to the city, expecting to find a place where his curiosity and mechanical skills could take him further. He ended up in Iron Alley, an overcrowded district filled with people struggling to get by. In Iron Alley, Kael found a place where his ability to repair, rebuild, and understand machines gave him a sense of purpose.

Even out in the countryside, the city was never truly far away. Massive industrial towers could be seen on the horizon, growing closer every year as Cyberpunk City expanded into the surrounding land. Kael loved the quiet life he had with his parents, but he wanted more for himself. Eventually, he left home and headed for the city, hoping to find opportunity and discover where he belonged.

After leaving his family’s farm, Kael took whatever work he could find in Iron Alley. His knack for fixing things quickly became his way of making a living, whether he was repairing a shop’s broken machine or patching together something that everyone else had given up on. It was not glamorous work, but for the first time, Kael felt like he was good at something that mattered.

As Kael became more settled in Iron Alley, he realized that getting ahead in the city would take more than just fixing machines on his own. He needed people he could rely on, and for a while, he found that sense of community with the Rust Devils. He got along with many of them and enjoyed the feeling of having a crew that had his back, but he never fully embraced their way of doing things. Their willingness to use violence and intimidation often went against Kael’s own values, leaving him caught between his morals and his ambitions.

Kael settled into a small room on an upper floor of a crowded apartment complex, surrounded by half-finished projects, with the constant hum of the city just outside his door. It was not much, but it gave him a place to work on his cybernetic arm, sleep between jobs, and slowly build a life of his own.

After doing a few repair jobs for Jin at OK FOX, Kael started to see the shop as more than just another place to find work. The two became friends, and Kael began stopping by regularly to check in, grab something to eat, and talk with Jin about whatever was happening around Iron Alley. For Kael, the shop became one of the few places in the city where he could relax and feel like he belonged.
